1st Six Weeks-Brendan's grades (2nd grade) This is for all of Brendan's grand parents out there. We are so proud of Brendan because this is his first "E" in citizenship that he has ever got! I told him that if he got an "E" or "S+" we would take him to Prime Time. (family entertainment place in Abilene) We try not to reward for grades but we will definitely reward for the "E".

A wonderful weekend

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend. Brent's dad Stan, his step mom Jill, and his brother Stan came to visit and meet the boys for the first time. They went to Brendan's soccer game and then came back to the house for some hamburgers. My parents also joined us. We had a great time and thank God every day for these relationships! We are so blessed!

The little monkeys

My mom took this picture Labor Day weekend of Brendan, Chase, and my sweet little nephew Gaven. (I could claim him as one of mine, I think). They are sitting on a large tree branch. My dad was behind them making sure no one got hurt though.

First Day of School

Brendan started 2nd grade on August 25th. Chase also moved to a new class room at day care!

Mom, Where's my tooth?

Brendan lost the first of his top teeth on August 23rd. The second front top tooth fell out on Tuesday, August 26th. Thank goodness because he looked really funny with the one tooth just hanging on!

There was one major disappointment though. The tooth fairy was a little under the weather and forgot to leave the money! She came the next night but there was some major explaining to do!

Family Reunion!

After almost 27 years, Brent has been reunited with his Dad, Stan and his lovely wife of 30 years, Jill. Words can not express how blessed we feel to have them back in our lives. They have a son, Stan III who is 26, so Brent also gained another brother! We give praise to God for this renewed relationship.

Dad and Son...Together at last!

I love this picture! I can see how handsome my husband will still be 30 years!

First Rangers Game-August 2, 2008

Brendan and Brent's first professional baseball game. Brent hates this picture. He says he looks like a "turtle".

I have joined the "blogger world"

My creative friend Jen has inspired me to start a blog. I also thought it would be a good way for everyone to stay up to date on the Irbys'.
